Meet Our Team
Dr. Angela Mensink
FOUNDER EdD, LPCC/LPC/LMHC, ACS, IMH-E®
I consider it a profound honor to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their path to healing. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where individuals and families feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment.
Above all, I want you to feel heard, seen, and comfortable expressing yourself in our sessions. I believe that a trusting, authentic connection between a counselor and client is the foundation for meaningful work. I understand that trust is earned, and I am committed to building it through empathy, active listening, humor, and confidentiality.
Whether you're a parent feeling overwhelmed by your child's frequent tantrums, a teen struggling to fit in, or a young child facing an uncertain and sometimes overwhelming world, I hope our relationship provides a safe space to process whatever arises—even when it feels difficult or uncomfortable. I look forward to holding space for you and walking alongside you on your healing journey.
A little about me: I’m a Midwest native with a love for jigsaw puzzles, staying active, and traveling. I have a deep appreciation for humor, sarcasm, and embracing my inner child. I currently live in Florida with my significant other and our two cats, Django and Iris.
